Hoping that immigrant voters would swing the 2020 election to Joe Biden, and now, the 2024 election to Vice President Kamala Harris, immigration authorities are naturalizing foreigners and turning them into “citizens” — and therefore, voters — at a record pace.
The report in The New York Times, of course, doesn’t draw that conclusion. But rigging the election with new voters who know nothing about this nation or its history is the Biden-Harris Combine’s goal.
Meanwhile, video of Harris from 2019 has gone viral. Answering a question from a leftist in Iowa, Harris vowed to help illegal-alien criminals wage a crime war on Americans. Harris promised to empty detention centers at the border in which dangerous criminals are detained.
Thousands of New “Citizens” Per Month
The Times report has, without saying so, confirmed what conservatives have said about Democrat immigration policies for years. The party wants open borders to import new voters. It hopes to elect a new people and cement Democrat power forever.
“At ceremonies in courthouses, convention centers and sports arenas across the country, thousands of immigrants are becoming new Americans every week — and becoming eligible to vote in time for the presidential election this fall,” the newspaper reported:
It’s unclear how many of the new voters live in battleground states, but a number of the states where Kamala Harris or Donald Trump must win have large and growing numbers of voting-age naturalized citizens, including Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania.
In Savannah, Ga., people from 19 countries streamed into a federal courthouse recently to take the oath of allegiance.
“My case was done in less than six months,” said Gladis Brown, who is married to an American and emigrated from Honduras in 2018.…
Green-card holders have many of the same rights as citizens. But voting in federal elections is a right accorded only to citizens. And that can be a powerful motivation to pursue citizenship, especially when big national elections are on the horizon.
As well, it’s a “powerful motivation” for Biden to rubber-stamp naturalizations. That’s exactly what a person called Xiao Wang, who works for an open-borders outfit called Boundless, says is happening.
“Naturalization applications typically spike upward in the approach to an election,” the Times observed. Wang explained what Biden is doing:
The surge in naturalization efficiency isn’t just about clearing backlogs; it’s potentially reshaping the electorate, merely months before a pivotal election.
And, he told the newspaper, “every citizenship application could be a vote that decides Senate seats or even the presidency.”
Biden’s move to mint new “citizens” in less than five months after application is a rerun of what President Barack Hussein Obama did in 2013 and 2014. New “citizens” so far during the Biden years: 3.3 million.
Biden ordered the acceleration in 2021 by executive order and “began deploying new technology and additional staff in 2022 to reduce the pending caseload of citizenship applications, which had ballooned because of heightened scrutiny by the Trump administration and protracted pandemic-related delays in conducting the swearing-in ceremonies,” the Times continued.
Biden also cut the pages in the naturalization application from 20 to 14, and discounted the $710 application fee for “low-income people.”
The Times spoke to one new “citizen” as he departed the federal courthouse in Savannah, Georgia. He registered to vote “on the spot.”
“This is a wonderful country that we want to be fully a part of,” said Kenyan Nishang Patel, a 28-year-old dentist who landed here as a kid. “We will contribute and vote.”
Harris: Open the Gates, Free the Criminals
Bad as that is, Harris’ vow to release illegal-alien criminals into the streets resurfaced on X.
An open-borders leftist asked whether Harris “would be committing to close immigration detention centers” when she became president.
Replied Harris:
Absolutely. On Day One. On Day One.
As commentator Colin Rugg observed, detention facilities don’t just house illegals who jumped the border to seek jobs and free stuff.
The facilities also hold criminals.
“Once a noncitizen is transferred to ICE custody, the agency makes a custody determination. ICE uses its limited detention resources to detain noncitizens to secure their presence for immigration proceedings or removal from the United States — as well as those that are subject to mandatory detention, as outlined by the Immigration and Nationality Act, or those that ICE determines are a public safety or flight risk during the custody determination process,” the Immigration and Customs Enforcement website says:
When a noncitizen is not subject to mandatory detention or is not deemed to be a public safety or flight risk, ICE exercises its discretion in making custody determinations to release noncitizens with conditions. These custody decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and after considering the totality of circumstances — primarily considering risk of flight, national security threat and risk to public safety.
But Harris will release them all.
Republicans roasted Harris on X.
“Kamala Harris opened the border by design,” GOP vice presidential candidate and Senator J.D. Vance wrote on X. “She said she wanted to do it, she ran on doing it, and she governed from ‘day one’ to do it.”
Wrote GOP Senator Ted Cruz of Texas:
When she tells you who she is …
… believe her.
“Kamala Harris doesn’t just want to decriminalize illegal border crossings, she wants to free all criminal illegal aliens,” Donald Trump, Jr., wrote. “Kamala’s open border policies would lead to more dead Americans like Laken Riley.”
A Venezuelan Biden “migrant” whom the administration released at the border murdered nursing student Riley in Georgia.
Amusingly, the Harris campaign has released an ad that pretends the Jamaican-Indian candidate is tough on border security.
