Following its draconian mishandling of its COVID-19 response in early 2020, Communist Chinese authorities are now mandating the coronavirus vaccine.
According to the Wall Street Journal, multiple cities and counties in the provinces of Zhejiang, Fujian, and Jiangxi have mandated that all adults over the age of 18 be fully vaccinated by late August. Starting around late July, most of these areas will also prohibit unvaccinated individuals from entering schools, hospitals, nursing homes, libraries, and other public places.
Although the Chinese central government has not formally mandated COVID vaccinations, several of the local governments stated their own mandates were in response to “national, provincial and municipal arrangements,” suggesting Beijing’s involvement.
This development is only the latest example of COVID tyranny emanating from Communist China — and being adopted by other countries.
A growing amount of evidence suggests that the COVID virus was created in, and leaked from, a lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. As the Chinese government downplayed and covered up the extent of the virus’s spread, it locked down roughly 50 million people in multiple cities.
China’s draconian actions did not end there. In March 2021, the communist regime launched a vaccine passport for domestic economic activity, and it earlier proposed an international travel system based on QR codes. Even as the proportion of Chinese vaccinations far exceed other countries, the government has refused to relax its travel restrictions.
China’s lockdowns, vaccine passports, forced vaccinations, and other restrictions were — and are still being — replicated in the United States and other western countries.
Other Countries Mandating COVID Vaccine
Communist China is not alone in mandating the coronavirus vaccine. Multiple countries worldwide have implemented strict mandates.
For example, as The New American previously reported, France announced it would require all health workers to take the vaccine. It will also prohibit all unvaccinated individuals from visiting public places. Similar mandates for health workers have been imposed in Australia, Greece, Italy, and the United Kingdom, while Poland will mandate the vaccine for those “at high risk from COVID-19.”
Other countries have implemented even broader mandates, with Indonesia and Turkmenistan mandating the vaccine outright, and with Kazakhstan, Russia, and Saudi Arabia implementing strict vaccine passport systems.
The jury is still out as to whether the United States will return to the Constitution or follow the world’s lead toward ever-greater tyranny.
