With Impeachment and the 25th Amendment Unlikely, How Can Freedom-loving Americans Reclaim America?

The United States is in trouble. Since March 2020 in particular, when COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, and other regulations were imposed in various parts of the country, the nation that once stood for freedom and opportunity has become almost unrecognizable. Both neo-conservative (never-Trump) Republicans and liberal Democrats have advanced the tyrannical agenda, but the Democrats have been particularly egregious. And beginning in January of this year, the Biden administration, benefiting from Democrat control of both the House and Senate, has worked systematically to strip Americans of their freedoms and has sought to arm the federal government with complete and unfettered control over the American people.

While the state of the nation currently looks bleak, freedom-loving Americans have a good opportunity to put a stop to many of the Democrats’ dangerous and harmful policies, to reclaim America, and to put America back on the track of freedom, liberty, and opportunity. To do so, Constitution-loving Americans must unify, pass strict election laws that protect election integrity, and vote in droves in 2022.

Freedom-Loving Americans Must Unify

If freedom-loving Americans want to stop the well-oiled Democrat “machine,” they must unify. At a time when control of Congress and the White House is crucial, constitutionalists must stand together. Unfortunately, some continue to fail in this regard, including many Republicans. Nowhere was this more evident than in the 2020 election, when some Republicans refused to expose the election steal that robbed President Trump of the election, and to stand up for election integrity and the rule of law. Rather than doing so, they ran away from their obligations and took the easy way out. America is now paying a very heavy price for their cowardly behavior.

Sadly, the election was just one of several instances where Republicans “splintered.” For example, after the election, some Republicans voted to impeach former President Trump for the attacks on the capital building, although there was no evidence that he was involved in this terrible event. Most recently, some Republicans also voted to support the recent infrastructure bill despite clear warnings that this “monstrosity” would be used by the Democrats to push through many of their far-left policies.

Freedom-loving Americans must understand that the far-left Democrats do not have their best interests in mind, and do not care about what is best for the country. For example, when some Republicans support/vote for the Democrat-proposed bills, they are, in essence, supporting the Democrats’ quest for power and control. Unlike Republicans, Democrats stick together. Short of a few and incredibly rare defections (i.e., Joe Manchin), the Democrats vote along party lines. Republicans (and those who cherish the Constitution) must also do so at this juncture.

Right now, it is more important to regain power and to stick together than it is to support such things as the Democrats’ infrastructure bill, which is but a mere ruse to pass certain “items” that the Democrats couldn’t otherwise pass in light of the 60-vote threshold. Those who refuse to  unify and to protect the Constitution should be voted out of office at the earliest available opportunity. In essence, all constitution-loving Americans must unite if they want to maintain a free and prosperous nation.

While unity will bring the party and many voters together, it will not be enough to end the Democrats’ control of Congress. As the nation clearly saw during the 2020 election, the nation’s election system and the voting/election laws in various states need to be revised/amended to protect election integrity. Some states, including Florida, Georgia, and Texas, have led this effort and have tightened up their state voting/election laws. In doing so, they have implemented laws to prevent fraud, require voter identification, limit mail-in voting or make the requirements for such voting much tighter, prevent ballot harvesting, and other measures to preserve election integrity.

Republicans Must Pass Strict Election Laws

Democrats, on the other hand, portray such laws as discriminatory, and argue that they prevent, or make it much more difficult, for certain people to vote. While the courts will ultimately decide the legality of these voting laws, Democrats oppose such provisions for obvious reasons. Democrats, in essence, promote/favor much looser standards for voting, and would love nothing more than to federalize the nation’s elections by virtue of bills like H.R.1. Towards that end, Democrats’ latest version of the ridiculously partisan John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (H.R. 4) even sought to strip the Supreme Court of certain powers relating to the nation’s elections.

It is imperative for Republicans to pass laws that tighten voting requirements and that help to promote and ensure election integrity in states that they control. If they do not do so, and given the Democrats’ “fast-track to citizenship” plans for illegal immigrants, as well as what transpired in 2020, freedom-loving Americans could face a repeat performance in 2022 and beyond. In reality, if the elections are not secure, it will not really matter how many people actually vote for Republican candidates, as it will be very difficult to prove such numbers or to establish any potential wrongdoing after the fact. Therefore, Republicans must pass such laws and ensure that they are written in a manner that can survive judicial scrutiny and review.

Constitution-loving Americans Must Vote

If unification occurs and the election laws are strengthened, freedom-loving Americans will be in a better position to begin to re-take America and to steer it in the right direction. Of course, this will not happen without a large voter turnout.

After the 2020 elections, many Americans were very upset, and rightfully so. Many felt that their vote(s) did not count due to potential voting irregularities, or other potential misconduct. As a result, many Constitution-loving Americans began to question whether they would vote again. After all, why vote if you don’t think that your vote is being counted or if you think that your vote is being diluted/invalidated by way of improper conduct?

While such concerns are understandable, voters cannot refrain from voting due to such worries. To the contrary, if voters notice that Republicans and those who cherish the Constitution are unifying and that steps are being taken to protect election integrity, this could serve to re-establish some of their faith in the nation’s elections.

Despite Biden’s poor performance and his dwindling polling numbers, voters cannot get complacent. If freedom-loving voters come out in large numbers and vote, they have the power to change the trajectory of the nation. For example, if constitutionalist-minded Republicans can re-take control of the House, they will be in a better position to lame-duck President Biden and to replace Nancy Pelosi. Those two steps, alone, would be enormous, and the results would be felt immediately!

The fate of America teeters in the balance. In less than one year, the Democrats have systematically destroyed many of the pillars that traditionally made America so great! Sadly, with Democrats in control, Biden’s impeachment is unlikely, as is his removal under the 25th Amendment. Despite this, Americans have a good opportunity to start to heal the nation and to reclaim America and what it stands for.

But it will not happen unless freedom-loving Americans better inform themselves, inform others, and (in general) get involved, not just during the height of political campaigns but throughout the year, election year and non-election year alike. When the American people are sufficiently informed and involved, politicians will tend to move in the constitutionalist direction and to put principle ahead of party. But without this great awakening, politicians — not just Democrats but Republicans too — will continue moving the country in the wrong direction.

The time to get involved starts now!
