Top Democrats and the leftist media have invited foreign interference in the 2024 presidential election.
This time, they’re working with Ukrainian dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, who told the far-left, hate Trump New Yorker that vice presidential candidate and U.S. Senator J.D. Vance is unfit to be vice president. Zelensky also visited an ammunition plant in swing-state Pennsylvania. By Zelensky’s side was Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro.
Zelensky is in the United States just weeks before the November general election to peddle his “victory plan” in his nation’s war against Russia.
“Too Radical”
Zelensky, who attires himself like a disheveled teenager, told the New Yorker that his plan is one that “strengthens Ukraine.” Translation: He wants billions more tax dollars from Americans and permission to strike Russia with long-range American weapons inside Russia.
Indeed, the plan sounds as if Zelensky is ready to start World War III.
“I’ve put it all on paper, with specific arguments and specific steps to strengthen Ukraine during the months of October, November, and December, and to enable a diplomatic end of the war,” he told the New Yorker’s Joshua Yaffa:
The difference this time will be that Putin will have grasped the depth of this plan and of our partners’ commitment to strengthening us, and he will realize an important fact: that if he is not ready to end this war in a way that is fair and just, and instead wishes to continue to try to destroy us, then a strengthened Ukraine will not let him do so.
And if President Joe Biden doesn’t support that plan, it “would mean that Biden doesn’t want to end the war in any way that denies Russia a victory,” he continued. “And we would end up with a very long war — an impossible, exhausting situation that would kill a tremendous number of people.”
Had Ukraine not fought against Russia, “Putin would have marched on … some forty million immigrants coming to Europe, America, and Canada,” and American influence in Europe would be nil.
“During the Presidential debate, moderators asked Trump whether he wanted Ukraine to win against Russia, and he sidestepped the question,” Yaffa, the author of the New Yorker piece, told Zelensky. “He just said, ‘I want the war to stop.’ It must have troubled you to hear his answer and to consider the prospect of his winning.”
“Trump makes political statements in his election campaign,” Zelensky said, noting that the former president “doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how.”
Yaffa’s question about Vance invited Zelensky, a former actor and comedian, not only to tell Americans that Vance is too unschooled in history to understand the world, but also to pontificate on U.S. foreign policy and what the consequences of Vance’s ideas might be.
“He is too radical,” Zelensky said, because Vance expects Ukraine to give up territory to Russia. A former Marine and a graduate of Yale and Ohio State universities, Vance just doesn’t understand American interests or history, Zelensky continued:
His message seems to be that Ukraine must make a sacrifice. This brings us back to the question of the cost and who shoulders it. The idea that the world should end this war at Ukraine’s expense is unacceptable.…
For us, these are dangerous signals, coming as they do from a potential Vice-President.
Trump has been more reasonable and supportive, Zelensky said. And anyway, what’s good for Ukraine is good for America.
“[Vance and others who share his views] should clearly understand that the moment they start trading on our territory is the moment they start pawning America’s interests elsewhere: the Middle East, for example, as well as Taiwan and the U.S. relations with China,” he said:
I don’t take Vance’s words seriously, because, if this were a plan, then America is headed for global conflict. It will involve Israel, Lebanon, Iran, Taiwan, China, as well as many African countries.
Worse still, Vance is an ignoramus who doesn’t know the lessons of World War II.
“Let Mr. Vance read up on the history of the Second World War, when a country was forced to give part of its territory to one particular person,” the imperious former comedian said, warning that Jewish Americans must educate the ignoramus:
What did that man do? Was he appeased or did he deal a devastating blow to the continent of Europe — to many nations, broadly, and to the Jewish nation in particular? Let him do some reading. The Jewish people are a strong power base in the United States, so let them conduct a public-education campaign and explain why millions perished thanks to the fact that someone offered to give up a sliver of territory.
Arms Plant
The same day the New Yorker published its tongue-bath interview, Zelensky showed up in battleground Pennsylvania to visit the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant, which is manufacturing an extra 22,000 155mm artillery shells a month for Ukraine.
Zelensky and Shapiro signed artillery shells, a message to the Russians those shells will kill.
“Now, for our warriors who are defending not only our country, not only Ukraine, the plant will be ramping up production,” Zelensky wrote on X:
I began my visit to the United States by expressing my gratitude to all the employees at the plant and by reaching agreements to expand cooperation between Pennsylvania and our Zaporizhzhia.
It is in places like this where you can truly feel that the democratic world can prevail. Thanks to people like these — in Ukraine, in America, and in all partner countries — who work tirelessly to ensure that life is protected.
Whatever Zelensky writes on X, he doesn’t much care for “democracy.” In March, he canceled elections and now runs the country as an unelected “president.” As well, his regime imprisoned American commentator Gonzalo Lira, then murdered him by neglecting his health. At the behest of his jailers, other inmates tortured Lira.
Lira was a strong critic of the Zelensky regime for continuing a war with Russia it cannot win.
