Haitian Biden “migrants” are making life in Springfield, Ohio, intolerable.
They are eating the city’s ducks. They are stealing pets and eating them. They are squatting on lawns and terrifying homeowners.
And last year, an unlicensed Haitian Biden “migrant” crashed into a school bus. He killed an 11-year-old boy.
No wonder residents — black and white — are telling city commissioners at their public meetings that something must be done.
Overwhelmed
As of the 2020 census, Springfield’s population was about 59,000. But that figure apparently didn’t sit well with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee.
Solution: Send 20,000 Haitian “migrants” to “revitalize” the city.
Last week, despite the aforementioned bus crash, The New York Times reported that the Haitians have given Springfield, a “shrinking Midwestern town with an uncertain future,” a a bright future:
“By most accounts, the Haitians have helped revitalize Springfield,” the newspaper reported:
They are assembling car engines at Honda, running vegetable-packing machines at Dole and loading boxes at distribution centers. They are paying taxes on their wages and spending money at Walmart. On Sundays they gather at churches for boisterous, joyful services in Haitian Creole.
A few years ago, before the invasion of penniless Haitians, when Springfield embarked on a revitalization plan that invited manufacturers to create 8,000 new jobs, “there were not enough workers,” the Times continued:
Many young, working-age people had descended into addiction. Others shunned entry-level, rote work altogether, employers said.
Haitians who heard that the Springfield area boasted well-paying, blue-collar jobs and a low cost of living poured in, and employers were eager to hire and train the new workforce.
To its credit, the Times did note that city residents complained about the Haitians at the city commission meeting on July 30. But the newspaper also suggested that those residents were xenophobic racists:
At a meeting on July 30, residents stepped up to two podiums in a session that quickly devolved into chaos.
“Haitians are occupying our land,” declared one middle-aged woman, Glenda Bailey, warning that the immigrants would soon become the majority and run everyone else out of town. She said they had low IQs.
Speakers claimed, without evidence, that Haitians were responsible for drug trafficking, retail theft and disease.
“Not one person asked anyone in this community how we felt about them coming in here and invading our city,” said one resident, Mike Powell.
So nothing much is amiss in Springfield, the Times suggested, except the irrational “resentment” among town residents, not least for the vehicular homicide of 11-year-old Aiden Clark, killed by Biden “migrant” Hermanio Joseph, 36.
Eating Ducks, Butchering Cats
Nothing amiss — except for everything the Times didn’t disclose, which has surfaced on social media.
The Haitians are butchering and eating the ducks in the city’s Snyder Park.
“Warning to all about our beloved pets & those around us!!” a Facebook post says:
My neighbor informed me that her daughters friend had lost her cat. She checked pages, kennels, asked around, etc. One day she came over from work, as soon as she stepped out of her car, looked towards a neighbors house, where Haitians live, & saw her cat hanging from a branch, like you’d do a deer for butchering, & they were carving it up to eat.
I‘ve been told that they’re doing this to dogs, they have been doing it at Snyder park with the ducks & geese, as I was told that last bit by rangers & police. Please keep a close eye on these animals
Springfield cops, the Springfield News-Sun reported, haven’t received any reports about cat-eating or other such crimes.
“Springfield Police said they were aware of the social media post but that this was ‘not something that’s on our radar right now,’” the newspaper reported. The paper claimed that some residents were confusing the Springfield allegation with a similar case in Canton.
Maybe, but the story is hardly outlandish, given the Haitian appetite for the city’s ducks.
“Car Crash Crisis”
At the city commission meeting on August 27, resident and 28-year-old YouTuber Anthony Harris said, “I see what’s going on the streets.” He said he’s broadcasting the Haitian criminality, including the “car crash crisis.”
“These Haitians are running into trash cans,” he told commissioners. “They’re running into buildings. … They’re flipping cars in the middle of the street.” Harris recently posted a video to YouTube titled Mayor Candidate Anthony Harris fights against The Haitian Car Crash Crisis in Springfield Ohio. The first scene shows a car that has smashed through the wall of a brick building.
Harris said there are “nothing but immigrants” at the city welfare office. “They’re in the park, grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off with them and eating them,” he said.
Residents Terrified
At the meeting on August 13, a woman complained about the Haitians squatting in her front yard. She and her husband, apparently, will leave their home of almost 50 years because of Biden “migrants.”
“It is so unsafe in my neighborhood anymore,” she told the commissioners, noting that homeless Haitians are everywhere.
“It is so unsafe. I have men that cannot speak English in my front yard screaming at me,” she continued, “throwing mattresses in my front yard, throwing trash in my front yard”:
Look at me. I weigh 95 pounds. I couldn’t defend myself if I had to. My husband is elderly and last night, after living in this home for 45 years, he said Noelle, guess what? It’s time to pack up and move. He said we can’t do this anymore. He said it’s killing both of us mentally. I don’t understand what you expect of us as citizens. … I understand they’re under temporary protected status and you’re protecting them and I understand that our city services are overwhelmed and understaff[ed]. But who’s protecting us? If we’re protecting them, who’s protecting me? I want out of this town. I am sorry, please give me a reason to stay.
“I live in the area,” an X user wrote under commentator Jack Posebiec’s X post of the woman’s comments. “Completely true stories.”
That comment appeared over a Facebook post that said Haitians “are stealin the ducks and geese from Snyder Park to eat them. Better watch them for food trucks.”
“Share this everywhere,” Posobiec wrote of Biden’s Haitian invasion. “Don’t let them cover up what they are doing.”
