A North Carolina preschool is stirring outrage after it used LGBT flash cards to teach children colors — one of these flash cards had a drawing of a pregnant man.
Republican State Rep. Erin Paré received word about the flash cards from a worried constituent in her district. The representative then reached out to the principal at Ballentine Elementary School, which is part of the public school system of Wake County.
The principal performed a search and found the cards. A statement from North Carolina House Speaker Tim Moore explained:
The principal found the stack of cards in a preschool classroom and verified with the teacher that they had been used by the teacher in the classroom to teach colors. The principal confirmed that the flash cards were not part of approved curriculum and that she was unaware that they were being used. The principal immediately took possession of the cards, contacted the WCPSS area superintendent, and engaged human resources. The principal expressed appreciation for the constituent’s information via Rep. Paré, as she would not have known about the flash cards otherwise.
Moore’s office pointed to a recent poll showing that 57 percent of North Carolina voters support legislation to “make parents the primary decision-makers regarding their child’s health and medical decisions and provide parents with opt-out options regarding controversial surveys or age-inappropriate classroom materials,” then confirmed that “The members of the North Carolina General Assembly are currently reviewing legislation to address this very concern. Parents deserve to know exactly what and how their children are being taught.”
The statement quoted Rep. Paré as saying:
I am grateful that a concerned constituent reached out and that this issue is being addressed in a swift and professional manner by Ballentine Elementary School…. Schools should only be using age-appropriate materials, and these flashcards clearly do not meet that standard for a pre-school classroom. I hope schools across Wake County and the State of North Carolina will follow the example of Ballentine and respond swiftly when a parent expresses concern and ensure that materials like this are not being used to teach young students.
Exposing children to sexualizing material has become a common cause of tensions in America, and the pro-LGBT propaganda has reached into the most unlikely places.
For example, a U.S. Air Force base in Germany is planning to hold a drag queen story hour.
“We’re celebrating Pride Month at the Ramstein Library with Drag Queen Storytime! Join us with special guest reader Stacey Teed! Be sure to wear your brightest and most colorful outfits!” the event page reads.
One toddler’s mother, whose husband is stationed at the base, said that while she often takes her child to the library for story time, she was “shocked to see the Ramstein Air Force Base Library plans to hold an official drag queen story hour for children.”
“I find it wholly inappropriate that the MILITARY of all places will be using public funds to sexualize children,” she said.
The mass media, including social media and the entertainment industry, also play a role. Toy maker Mattel has now come out with its first-ever transgender Barbie doll.
“Toymaker Mattel has partnered with transgender actor Laverne Cox to create its first transgender Barbie doll modeled after the Emmy Award-winning celebrity’s likeness,” The Gateway Pundit reports. Mattel scheduled the doll’s release ahead of Cox’s 50th birthday.
Research indicates that transgenderism is largely not innate, but the result of programming from the adults in children’s lives. One study compared a group of mothers of gender confused boys with mothers of normal boys. It found “that mothers of boys with GID [Gender Identity Disorder] had more symptoms of depression and more often met the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder than the controls. Fifty-three percent of the mothers of boys with GID compared with only 6% of controls met the diagnosis for Borderline Personality Disorder.”
The left, of course, fully understands this. It’s why they are pushing so hard to have grooming in place in all child-related institutions and to combat Republican efforts to prevent such grooming. Without the deliberate sexualization of children, these states of gender identity confusion will not naturally become prevalent in society.
It’s just another reason to get kids out of public schools.
