White House spokesman Jen Psaki said again yesterday that the borders are open, and that illegal aliens are welcome to cross and colonize the country.
The outgoing leftist didn’t say it directly, of course. She merely implied it when she answered a question about the first “migrant” bus that Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent to Washington. The bus dropped illegal aliens at the U.S. Capitol building. Another bus arrived early this morning.
Psaki said the illegals are free to wander thither and yon anywhere they wish, permission that comports with the oft-stated illegal policy of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The unindicted visa fraudster has said he will not deport illegals for simply being in the country illegally.
Psaki’s remark landed just as the government prepares to release its monthly tally of border apprehensions, which are expected to surge past 200,000.
“Migrant” Bus
The bus landed yesterday, Fox News reported, just as Abbott promised. Abbott acted because immigration authorities were illegally dropping the “migrants” into towns in Texas. “Migrant” is leftist code for an illegal alien.
“The bus pulled up at approximately 8 a.m. local time, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building,” Fox reported with an accompanying photo essay. The illegals came from Cuban, Colombia, Nicaragua, and Venezuela:
Upon the bus’s arrival in Washington, D.C., individuals disembarked one by one except for family units who exited together. They checked in with officials and had wristbands they were wearing cut off before being told they could go.
According to TDEM, Abbott’s plan is already working. The agency told Fox News on Monday that many of the communities that originally reached out for support — from the Rio Grande Valley to Terrell County — say the federal government stopped dropping immigrants in their towns since Abbott’s announcement on April 6.
Some had questioned whether Abbott’s plan to bus migrants was genuine. The White House dismissed it as a “publicity stunt.” Even Texas state Rep. Matt Schaefer, a Republican, called it a “gimmick.”
At yesterday’s White House presser, a reporter asked Psaki whether the White House still thought Abbott’s move was a “publicity stunt.”
Replied Psaki:
Well, these are all migrants who have been processed by CBP and are free to travel. So, it’s nice the state of Texas is helping them get to their final destination as they await in — their outcome of their immigration proceedings. And they’re all in immigration proceedings.
In fact, the illegals aren’t “free to travel.” U.S. law, as The New American has reported, requires illegals to be detained, not “processed” then released. As well, aiding and abetting an illegal alien is a federal crime. Biden and Mayorkas are also violating the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
The second “migrant” bus dropped illegals at 4:30 a.m.
Next Report
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is due to release the number of apprehensions in March at the border any day.
February’s total was 164,973.
Last month, The Washington Post reported preliminary data that show March’s total will be 200,000 or more, an increase of at least 21 percent.
That will bring the total for fiscal 2022, which began October 1, to more than one million.
Of illegals apprehended thus far, CBP and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have released almost 40 percent to roam free. That total as of February was 318,700, a figure that could rise to more than 400,000.
Despite all this, frighteningly enough, if the GOP retakes Congress in November’s midterm election, party leaders say they will not impeach Biden for committing what amounts to treason.
“Obviously, we will have to work with the administration to see what we can agree on but … let me put it this way,” Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell told Fox & Friends on Sunday. “Biden ran as a moderate. If I’m the majority leader in the Senate and Kevin McCarthy is the speaker of the House, we’ll make sure Joe Biden is a moderate.”
McConnell did not, of course, define “moderate,” which would have been helpful given that Biden is openly breaking the law by not enforcing it.
House GOP chieftain Kevin McCarthy said likewise; Republicans will not, he said, impeach Biden over “politics.”
“We believe in the rule of law,” McCarthy told Fox Business. “We’re not going to pick and choose just because somebody has power. We’re going to uphold the law. At any time, if someone breaks the law and the ramification becomes impeachment, we would move towards that. But we’re not going to use it for political purposes.”
McCarthy is apparently unaware that Biden and his deputies have committed multiple impeachable offenses, “politics” notwithstanding.
“Upholding the law” demands impeachment.
