A federal judge recently ruled that Ohio must allow those who so wish to “correct” their birth certificates, replacing their actual sex at birth with their desired one.

Judge Michael Watson, a George W. Bush appointee, made the ruling on a case involving three women and one man who wished to identify as something other than their true sex.

Watson said not allowing people to pick what sex is on their birth certificate is “nothing more than thinly veiled post-hoc rationales to deflect from the discriminatory impact of the policy.”

“This is truly a victory for the LGBT community, in every aspect,” Stacie Ray, one of the four plaintiffs, said.

Local outlet Mahoning Matters reported:

The court, in siding with the American Civil Liberties Union, the ACLU of Ohio and Lambda Legal, said the state’s birth certificate rule executed by the Ohio Department of Health and the Office of Vital Statistics is unconstitutional.

Ohio had argued the rule was necessary to prevent fraud and keep a historically accurate record of its people. Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s office told the Associated Press it was weighing whether to appeal.

“Today’s ruling affirms that the state must recognize the dignity and true identity of every transgender Ohioan,” Elizabeth Bonham, staff attorney for the ACLU of Ohio, said. “It is incredibly frustrating that our clients faced years of unlawful discrimination, but today we celebrate this victory as an acknowledgement to their commitment to justice.”

“Finally, transgender people from Ohio will be able to correct their birth certificates so that this necessary identity document is consistent with their gender identities,” Kara Inglehart, staff attorney at Lambda Legal, said. “Accurate birth certificates are essential. They are foundational to our ability to access a variety of benefits such as employment and housing, and to navigate the world freely and safely, as who we truly are.”

With this ruling, Tennessee remains the only state that does not allow people to pick which sex they want to be shown on their birth certificates.

In addition, the following 16 states, plus the District of Columbia, allow persons to choose a neutral, “non-binary” gender on their birth certificates:

  • Arkansas
  • California
  • Colorado
  • Hawaii
  • Illinois
  • Maine
  • Maryland
  • Massachusetts
  • Minnesota
  • New Hampshire
  • New Mexico
  • New York
  • Oregon
  • Pennsylvania
  • Virginia
  • Washington

The assault on biological reality is in full-swing, driven by the support of the mainstream media and entertainment, as well as the constant fears of those in authority that they might appear “bigoted,” “discriminatory,” “closed-minded,” or “homophobic.”

Another recent battleground is Idaho, where several amicus briefs were filed Monday in support of Hecox v. Little, a challenge to Idaho’s law banning male athletes (whom the mainstream media likes to call “transgender athletes” to obscure the fact that we’re really talking about men) from participating in women’s sports in school.

Tennis star Billie Jean King, World Cup champion Megan Rapinoe and WNBA’s Candace Parker were among the more than 175 athletes who joined Athlete Ally and the Women’s Sports Foundation in signing a brief filed by Lambda Legal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Despite the growing fanaticism of the “trans” movement, there is significant pushback, including from unlikely sources.

Earlier this month, Democrat Representative Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii) joined Republican Representative Markwayne Mullin (Okla.) in introducing a bill that would “protect women’s sports” based on participants’ actual, biological sex.

Gabbard maintained that the proposed bill does not discriminate, but rather “protects the rights of biological females competing in sports against having to compete against biological men who identify as female. It’s not a level playing field. And it’s mind-boggling how quickly people attack those whose positions are based on science and common sense.”

Of course, that didn’t stop backlash from those on the Left, who, despite constantly claiming to be on the side of science, now refuse to believe that sex is a biological aspect of humanity. For them, it’s nothing more than a “social construct.” Women can be born with male genitalia and vice-versa in their worldview.

The end goal is to utterly destroy what it means to be human. Once transgenderism and perhaps even transageism and transracism are made mainstream, the next logical step is transhumanism, which is already being touted as part of the “Great Reset” currently promoted by top globalists around the world.

World Economic Forum boss Klaus Schwab, the chief marketer of the Great Reset who recently released a book with that title, has proclaimed that a key element of the “reset” will be the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution. And in very public statements, he has explained what this means: merging man with machines. “What the fourth industrial revolution will lead to is a fusion of our physical, digital and biological identity,” Schwab explained in a speech to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs.

If we wish to protect our families from the Great Reset, Americans must not only hold the line against further “trans” quackery, but fight to repeal much of what has already been shoved onto our communities.
