In a statement on Truth Social yesterday former President Donald Trump announced anyone who makes a donation to Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign will be permanently barred from “MAGA.”
Trump’s statement said, “When I ran for Office and won, I noticed that the losing Candidate’s ‘Donors’ would immediately come to me, and want to ‘help out.’ This is standard in Politics, but no longer with me. Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp.”
Haley’s campaign is losing momentum after the New Hampshire primary loss, with Republican National Committee chair Ronna McDaniel telling Fox News, “I’m looking at the map and the path going forward and I don’t see it for Nikki Haley…. I think she has run a great campaign, but I do think there is a message that is coming out from the voters which is very clear ‘we need to unite around our eventual nominee’ which is going to be Donald Trump ‘and we need to make sure we beat Joe Biden.”
Trump continues to gather endorsements from prominent conservatives, with Republican primary opponents Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.), and Vivek Ramaswamy endorsing him after dropping out of the race, as well as Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) endorsing him earlier this month.
