Elon Musk held a poll on Saturday asking if Alex Jones should be reinstated to the X platform. The poll had 1,966,125 votes, with 70.1 percent responding “Yes.” After the poll ended, Musk responded, “The people have spoken and so it shall be” with Jones and the Infowars accounts being reinstated. Musk spoke with Jones, Vivek Ramaswamy, and others in an X Spaces chat on Sunday and discussed Big Tech censorship, Starlink, and Sandy Hook, and took questions from listeners.

Jones’ reinstatement on X comes after many advertisers pulled ads from the platform last month in response to a Media Matters report alleging that Musk endorsed an antisemitic tweet, and that X had ads placed alongside offensive content. The list of companies that have pulled advertising include Apple, Disney, IBM, and Sony. Musk responded by saying, “If someone is going to try and blackmail me with advertising, blackmail me with money, go f*ck yourself. Is that clear? Hope it is.”

Jones was on Tucker Carlson’s show last week, and thanked Carlson for helping him return to X, saying, “I want to thank Tucker Carlson for the below interview. It enabled me to escape the phantom zone and let the world know what I really stand for! Tucker broke the Matrix!!”
