The indoctrination of college students by their ultra-liberal professors has proven to be quite successful thus far, even to the degree that they have been taught to justify the hypocrisies in their various liberal assertions. Conservative college student Oliver Darcy has been doing his part to expose the liberal agenda and hypocrisies on college campuses. Darcy has released three videos that effectively reveal such hypocrisies, one involving the redistribution of wealth but not grades, another in which students refuse to pay their fair share of the national debt, and the latest shows allegedly “pro-free speech” college students signing a petition to ban Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and other conservatives from the airwaves.
Darcy is a member of the College Republicans at the University of California — Merced, and has been working vigilantly with his fellow members to underline the absurdity of the liberal lies and hypocrisies and try to change the minds of his liberal peers.
Several weeks ago, Darcy and his peers approached a number of college students and indicated that the college was considering “emulating the current federal tax structure” that taxes the rich to help those in the lower income brackets with the grading system. Darcy asked:
Do you really need a 4.0 GPA? Isn’t that GPA kind of — I don’t know — excessive? Wouldn’t life at your college be fairer and more just if you gave some of your unneeded grade points to another student — a less privileged student — who’s flunking Intro to Psych?

Hey, maybe that student came from a rough background. Maybe he didn’t have the same opportunities that you did. Why not help him out? We’re all compassionate here, are we not?

Perhaps not surprisingly, college students were not too keen about redistributing their grades, insisting that their grades were earned and should not be eligible for redistribution. However, when asked if those same students support the redistribution of wealth through taxation and social services, all of them said yes.
To this, Darcy responded, “People earn their money though.” Adopting the same liberal rhetoric used to justify wealth redistribution, Darcy added, “That’s kind of a selfish argument, no?”
One student replied, “But grades are an indication of performance,” prompting Darcy to ask, “Isn’t income an indication of performance? You have to work hard for that money.”
Most students could not see the similarities between redistributing grades and redistributing wealth, though none could explain the differences.
Darcy and his College Republicans then traveled to the University of California in Berkeley, where many of the students that indicated support for wealth redistribution to pay for social services and to support those belonging to the lower income brackets are also opposed to any Republican plan to cut spending and reduce the national debt. Yet, when asked if they were willing to pay their fair share of the debt, which amounts to approximately $47,000, those students refused.

Darcy asked his peers if they would agree to sign a pledge vowing to pay their share of the national debt. Predictably, the responses were negative. The answers ranged from “I don’t contribute to the national debt,” to “It’s not my debt.” In fact, the vast majority of students refused.
“We’re reaping all these benefits of social programs, and I’m sure you’re getting financial aid,” said Darcy to those students opposed to paying $47,000 for the national debt. The students merely scoffed at such assertions.
Darcy then asked those students what they believe should be done to reduce the debt if they are unwilling to pay their fair share. The responses included, “Abolish the government,” “Tax the wealthy and corporations,” and “F*** the military.”
In Darcy’s most recent video, he and his colleagues Michael Fincher and Maurice Lewis traveled college campuses and met with students that alleged to be in favor of free speech. Challenging the sincerity of these assertions, Darcy asked the students if they were willing to sign a petition to “ban” Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, and other conservatives from radio and television. Perhaps not surprisingly, most were willing to comply.
The video of the interactions begins:
On December 15, 1791, the Bill of Rights was ratified, securing each American the right to the freedom of speech. Our founding fathers understood that free speech is imperative to a free society. However, will today’s generation work to ensure that this basic right, passed down from our forefathers, is not eroded?
Unfortunately, video footage of these encounters not only exposes students who are all-too willing to comply with the petition, but many of whom take the opportunity to share their views of the conservative pundits in question.

For example, one student said of Beck, “That guy’s a douchebag. He’s an a**.”
Another student declared that Americans should have a right to say what they want, and followed his declaration by signing the petition to ban the conservatives from the airwaves, indicating, “I hate them bastards.”
As students were signing the petitions, Darcy and his colleagues asked, “But you do support free speech don’t you?” Students simultaneously answered “yes” as they continued to sign the petition limiting the free speech of conservative pundits.
Darcy and his College Republicans later commented on the students’ willingness to infringe upon individuals’ freedom of speech on their website:
Today, many want to limit the speech of those they disagree with, primarily conservative republicans. In 1949, the Fairness Doctrine was introduced under the FCC. Under Reagan, in 1987, the FCC ended the doctrine. While Democrat-controlled congresses have tried to make it law again, Republicans and those who support free speech oppose their efforts to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. To begin the limitation of political speech and dissent would lead us to a downward spiral of freedoms. As the last bastion of freedom in the world, we must fight to retain our most important right, and failure is not an option.
Fox News’ Glenn Beck invited Darcy and his fellow College Republicans on his television program and celebrated the students’ courage in the face of the overwhelming liberal and leftist presence on college campuses. Encouraging the students to remain undeterred, Beck applauded the peaceful means of attacking the liberal agenda and all of its hypocrisies.
“I love these guys … this is the way to attack,” Beck told his audience.
