CDC Says It Can’t Prove Covid Vax Does Not Cause Variants

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that it is a “myth” that Covid vaccines create or cause variants, yet it is unable to back this claim with any proof.

The CDC’s website page dedicated to “Myths and Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines” reads,

MYTH: COVID-19 vaccines cause variants.

FACT: COVID-19 vaccines do not create or cause variants of the virus that causes COVID-19. Instead, COVID-19 vaccines can help prevent new variants from emerging.

The CDC further explains that new variants emerge as a result of constant changes in the virus “through a natural ongoing process of mutation (change).” It also notes that the more viruses spread, the more opportunities they get to mutate.  The agency says that the best way to prevent this is to get all eligible people vaccinated.

“High vaccination coverage in a population reduces the spread of the virus and helps prevent new variants from emerging. CDC recommends that everyone 5 years of age and older get vaccinated as soon as possible,” says the agency.

The Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), a nonprofit group advocating for medical transparency, filed two Freedom of Information Act requests asking the CDC to provide all relevant documents that would concur that the immunity that people inoculated against Covid get does not contribute to virus evolution and the emergence of variants.

In its first request filed in December 2021, ICAN asked the CDC to provide it with “All documents sufficient to support that COVID-19 vaccines do not create or cause variants of the virus that causes COVID-19.”

The group tried again in March 2022, asking for “All documents sufficient to support that the immunity conferred by COVID-19 vaccines does not contribute to virus evolution and the emergence of variants.”

The CDC responded to both inquiries — in January and in May — saying it has no such documents:

A search of our records failed to reveal any documents pertaining to your request. The CDC’s Emergency Operations Center and the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases conducted searches and found no records responsive to your request.

Aaron Siri, an attorney representing ICAN, told The Epoch Times that such responses were “very troubling.”

“I thought the CDC was a data-driven organization, that they made their decisions based on the studies and the science and the data,” Siri said.

The attorney added that by posting statements that it cannot support, the CDC is doing a “disservice to everybody by hurting their own credibility,” and that it would be reasonable for the CDC to “change the language” pertaining to the questionable statement.

The CDC’s claim echoes one of the World Health Organization (WHO), which says, “as more people get vaccinated, we expect virus circulation to decrease, which will then lead to fewer mutations…. We are all safe only if everyone is safe.”

The WHO goes so far as to say that even in the situation when existing vaccines “may be somewhat less effective against some of the COVID-19 virus variants,” countries still “must proceed with vaccination.”

It has been a long time since the United States health authorities admitted that Covid shots prevent neither infection nor transmission of the virus. Instead of promoting Covid early treatments, the CDC chose a path of recommending regular revaccinations. As of today, the CDC recommends that everyone of the age of 12 and older get a booster. Those who are immunocompromised and over 50 may get a fourth, and even fifth dose. Seasonal vaccination against Covid is viewed as a likely scenario by top officials of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

As of today, none of the vaccine manufacturers have been able to create a so-called sterilizing coronavirus vaccine that would fully protect one from getting infected, since coronaviruses mutate very quickly.

At the same time, many scientists argue that the “leaky” vaccines — those that do not guard against infection — are actually speeding up the mutation of the virus.

One such scientist is recently deceased French virologist and Nobel Prize laureate Luc Montagnier, who explicitly warned that the ineffective vaccines “feed the virus” and facilitate its development into stronger and more transmissible variants.

World-renowned vaccinologist Dr. Robert Malone warned that the “arms race” between the vaccines and the virus will always result in the victory of the virus. He wrote back in August 2021,

The essence of this arms race is this: The more people you vaccinate, the greater the number of vaccine-resistant mutations you are likely to get, the less durable the vaccines will become, ever more powerful vaccines will have to be developed, and individuals will be exposed to more and more risk.

The mass vaccination program that uses “imperfect non-sterilizing vaccines” is “an excellent breeding ground” for the emergence of “highly infectious variants that may eventually lead to more frequent and more pronounced pathogenicity,” warned Dr. Paul Alexander and Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche back in December 2021.

A medical study published in The Lancet in November 2021 found that global vaccine rollouts have utterly failed to stop transmission of Covid infections. Moreover, data indicate that infection is increasing in fully vaccinated individuals. Subsequent studies have corroborated this conclusion (see here, here, and here).

In addition to the scientific evidence, the real-world data from 145 countries prove the virologists’ most grim predictions are becoming a reality. Last month, the CDC itself posted data showing that not only did vaccines not prevent transmission, but they were actually associated with elevated Covid rates, based on information coming in from counties.

In this situation, the CDC’s inability to produce documents showing that vaccines do not contribute to the mutation of the virus is quite telling.
