First there were anti-rape shorts created in Germany due to a migrant-driven sexual-assault epidemic. Now knife crime is so bad in Britain that some parents are buying their sons stab-proof vests. It’s what happens when loose immigration policy meets lenient punishment of criminals.
It was reported earlier this year that London surpassed NYC in homicides for the first time in two centuries. And it appears that the U.K.’s capital city may retain this distinction at least for the near future. As the Daily Star reports, referencing the anti-stab-vest phenomenon:
The family of murdered male model Harry Uzoka, 25, said the desperate measure was due to the climate of fear on the streets.
This year London clocked up 100 homicides faster than at any time in the past decade.
Most of those — 64 — were stabbings. Harry, who modelled for Alexander McQueen, was killed by a catwalk rival [24-year-old George Koh] in a row over his girlfriend.
… Sentencing them at the Old Bailey, Judge Wendy Joseph said Mr Uzoka’s family had told of the fear over knife crime.
She said: “They describe the impact of such offending on the community, children who are frightened to go out, parents who are thinking of buying their sons stab-proof vests just to ensure they are safe to go about their everyday lives.
This isn’t the first we’ve heard of this, either. The Mirror reported in August that a firm named, amusingly, Bladerunner, was selling stab-proof hoodies and gloves. “The firm claims there has been a surge in demand for anti-stab gear from members of the public as well as mosques and synagogues fearing Islamophobic or anti-Semitic attacks,” the paper informs.
Note that Europe’s increasing anti-Semitic attacks are generally perpetrated by members of the growing Muslim population — and often by Muslim migrants.
The Mirror further informs that “Bladerunner managing director Lee Marks claims they have seen a 22 percent spike in demand for the pricey stab-proof hoodies and specialist Kevlar-lined gloves to disarm knifemen over the summer.”
Then there was the Sun report in May featuring a video in which London gang members were trying out such body armor in preparation for street battles.
This murder, and the crime wave in general, occur despite Britain’s strict gun laws and the fact that London is a highly surveilled city, with its residents monitored by a half million “Ring of Steel” cameras. Moreover, the problem is so bad that earlier this year a British doctor described the metropolis as being like an “Afghan war zone.” And the cause? As I reported in April:
Aside from Third World migration, many blame the crime wave on politically correct policing. As Breitbart wrote April 1, “The change is partly a consequence of Mayor [Sadiq] Khan’s campaign against using stop and search on ethnic minorities, with London police chief Cressida Dick admitting that constables have become ‘fearful’ of confronting suspects as they ‘might get into trouble or might not be supported if they had a complaint.’”
“Ethnic minorities” here refers to groups mainly comprising Muslims. What the police fear is that Western-world career-ender and social-sphere death sentence: a racism charge (even though “Muslim” isn’t a race). This leads to turning a blind eye to crime; the most striking manifestation of this was the Rotherham scandal, where authorities ignored the sexual abuse of 1,500 girls by Muslim rape gangs for 16 years, persecuting whistleblowers in the process.
Then again, the U.K. police aren’t turning a blind eye to all “crime.” While youths are donning body armor and London has been called a “Wild West,” where fewer than five percent of robberies are solved, authorities still find the resources to make “hate crimes” a priority. So mug someone in Britain if you must, but quote famed statesman Winston Churchill as a U.K. politician did in 2014, and you can be hauled away by Ingsoc.
As for criminals using knives, many would say it’s an issue because gun availability is limited (nonetheless, gun crime recently increased 42 percent in London). Of course, note that London has “knife control,” too, not to mention the “car control” proposed by Mayor Khan after a vehicular terrorist attack. Yet there’s perhaps another factor.
A good amount of Britain’s knife crime is perpetrated by Muslims, and many experts say this is no coincidence. Just consider what Islamic history professor Dr. Timothy Furnish told WND.com in 2016, commenting on the increase in knife attacks in the West in general: “Since the common links in most if not all these cases are Muslim or Islamophile perpetrators, bladed weapons and attacks on the neck area, I would submit that the driving force is the Islamic rubric to behead unbelievers — spelled out specifically in the Quran.”
In this vein, the Islamic State directed its followers in 2016 to use knives and stabbing weapons to commit jihad attacks. And Fox News reported the year before, “‘Restrain the victim while others attack him with axes and butcher knives,’ influential [Palestinian cleric] Sheikh Muhammad Salakh recently preached as he brandished a knife in a sermon that was widely viewed within the [Gaza and the West Bank] territories.”
Related to this are acid attacks, as they also seem to bear a migrant stamp. Breitbart reported in August that weekly the U.K. is now experiencing 15 of these heinous assaults, which often inflict life-altering injuries. Exploring the demographic factors in these crimes, FrontPage Mag’s Daniel Greenfield wrote last year:
Newham is the London borough with the highest number of acid attacks. It also has the second highest percentage of Muslims in the UK. 398 acid attacks occurred in 5 years in the area named as “the most ethnically diverse district in England and Wales”. 33% of Newham consists of non-UK passport holders.
But surely that’s some sort of random coincidence.
Except that the place with the third highest number of acid attacks is Tower Hamlets. Tower Hamlets is a Muslim no-go zone. It has one of the smallest native British populations in the country. 35% of the population is Muslim. Most of those are Bangladeshis with a healthy sprinkling of Somalis.
There were 84 acid attacks in what has been dubbed “The Islamic Republic of Tower Hamlets”.
Also, entirely by coincidence, Bangladesh has the highest rate of acid attacks in the world. But if anyone suggests that these two statistics are related, the Met police will investigate them for hate crimes.
So in today’s Britain watch not just your back but also what you say — especially if it happens to be the truth.
