At North Pole High School in North Pole, a little southeast of Fairbanks, Alaska, a girl is in trouble because she kicked a boy in the groin.
She kicked him the groin because he was in the girls’ restroom.
He was in the girls’ restroom not because he thinks he is a girl, but instead to protest the school’s decision to permit a girl who thinks she is a boy to use the boys’ bathroom.
The girl and seven boys got in trouble.
Another day, another victory for the pedagogues who run American education.
What Happened
The trouble began with “a post on social media,” the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reported, citing the school superintendent.
A girl who pretends to be a boy — “transitioning from female to male,” as the Daily News-Miner reported — “posted a selfie from the boy’s bathroom on Snapchat.”
But then “a group of boys saw the selfie and didn’t like it.” They decided to turn the tables.
“Upset about about the public nature of the post and how that played out,” the school superintendent told the newspaper, “seven boys decided to go into the girls restroom and take a group selfie of their own to post on Snapchat.”

That’s when they ran into the girl with a knee she isn’t afraid to use: “As the boys were entering the girls bathroom, a girl who was walking out the door kneed a boy in the groin.” He landed in the hospital. The school disciplined all eight students.
The story went public when Representative Tammie Wilson, a GOP member of Alaska’s House of Representatives who represents North Pole, revealed the matter at a news conference.
Said Wilson, “Good for her. I would have taught my daughter to do the same.”
The school cast the usual boilerplate about good order and discipline and not using violence to solve problems: “Students or staff who use force against another person on school grounds could be subject to disciplinary action, depending on the facts and circumstances of the incident.”
Wilson does not agree. “If you ever feel threatened for your safety, whatever force you think you have to give, I will stand behind you,” she told the newspaper.
Bathroom Insanity
But what happened in Alaska will likely happen elsewhere if the so-called LGBT movement gets its way. Forcing normal kids to share restrooms with boys and girls who either pretend they are the opposite sex, or think they are the opposite sex because they are mentally ill, is one of its cherished goals.
As of 2017, 38 states were trying to stop the insanity by designating multi-user restrooms for boys or girls only. Not surprisingly, the radical Left immediately began a campaign of lawfare to block those actions. In Virginia, for instance, a federal judge ruled that a school must allow boy a who pretends he is a girl to use the girls’ restroom.
Meanwhile, major corporations and organizations threaten to use their economic power to wreak financial ruin upon states that fight to keep girls safe with democratically passed laws that a majority of voters support. Amazon and the NCAA threatened to punish North Carolina because of its bathroom bill.
At the federal level, as The New American reported last week, just one Democrat stood against 234 others who support a bill that would force public schools to open locker rooms and sports teams to “transgenders.”
The bill even targets religious organizations. Such is the totalitarian intent of its homosexual sponsor he would not allow them an exemption based upon their teachings.
The threat this transgender insanity poses to women cannot be underestimated, a radical feminist told members of the House committee considering the bill.
Julie Beck, of the Women’s Liberation Front, said “male rapists will go to women’s prisons,” as happened in Britain, while women rape victims will have to contend with men in women’s shelters.
And obviously, boys will harass girls in the restroom, while “girls and women will no longer have a right to ask for female medical staff or intimate care providers, including elderly or disabled women who are at serious risk of sexual abuse.”
Women security officers and police will be forced to pat-down or otherwise intimately search men who claim to be women, while women “undergoing security checks will no longer have the right to refuse having those searches performed by men claiming a feminine identity.”
