End of Roe and Beginning of Woes? Women’s March Threatens “Summer of Rage” if Roe Is Overturned

As the expected demise of Roe v. Wade approaches, leftists of every stripe are using violence and the threat of violence in an effort to cow the Supreme Court’s six conservative justices into submission. As a prime example, Women’s March — motivated by the leaked SCOTUS draft indicating that the court will vote to overturn Roe — is threatening the country with a “Summer of Rage” if the court follows that course.

Women’s March is the organization that started as a reaction to Donald Trump’s presidency. The group first came to public attention with a march on Washington, D.C., in protest of the January 21, 2017 inauguration of Trump. A large percentage of the women at that march wore vagina hats. Yep — vagina heads are at the origin of the organization that is now threatening to have a jillion (give or take a few million) shrieking banshees descend on America in foot-stomping, breath-holding tantrums until they get their way.

Coming in the wake of pro-abortion foot soldiers showing up en masse at the Supreme Court building and even at the homes of Supreme Court justices — and the firebombing of a Wisconsin pro-life organization’s offices and vandalism of other pro-life organizations — threats of a “Summer of Rage” are tantamount to threats of violence. This is all the more obvious with organizers taking a cue from their Marxist comrades in BLM and Antifa in saying that part of the “Summer of Rage” will be women being “ungovernable.”

As Daily Wire reported:

According to its website, The Women’s March’s mission is to “harness the political power of diverse women and their communities to create transformative social change.” To help advance that cause this summer, the progressive group is promising “rage,” yet the group was short on specifics as to what that actually meant.

On Saturday, The Women’s March helped organize abortion rights rallies in numerous cities across America. Those who attended were mainly motivated by a leaked opinion draft from the Supreme Court that suggested the high court is poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and send the topic of abortion back to the states.

On Sunday, The Women’s March warned that the nation would soon experience “a Summer of Rage.”

Women’s March made its threat via a tweet on Sunday, appearing to build on what the organization saw as a successful string of events on Saturday. “Yesterday, we took to the streets and showed the strength of our movement,” the group’s official account tweeted. “Tomorrow, we keep fighting. This will be a Summer of Rage across America.”

But the cause and effect are likely in reverse order from what they appear. It seems that Women’s March had already planned the “Summer of Rage,” and Saturday’s protests were little more than the laying of the groundwork before announcing their campaign of attempting to shrew the nation into compliance with the will of a few hundred thousand (at best) harpies who seem to revel in acting out. Serving as evidence that the “Summer of Rage” is the chicken and Saturday’s protests are the eggs is the simple fact that Sunday’s tweet was immediately followed by the organization updating its website to advertise the “Summer of Rage” — which includes a “Women’s Convention” planned for August.

Since such events must be planned — and venues booked — months ahead, it seems unlikely (read: impossible) that the event was not already in the works before Saturday’s protests.

Furthermore, Women’s March officials spent the weekend hinting at such plans — even using the phrase “Summer of Rage.” On Saturday, Women’s March President Rachel Carmona told the media, “For the women of this country, this will be a summer of rage. We will be ungovernable until this government starts working for us, until the attacks on our bodies let up, until the right to an abortion is codified into law.” Wait…. “Ungovernable.” Now where have we heard that before? Both BLM and Antifa played that card as they planned the Summer of Terror in which they burned and pillaged their way through more than 200 American cities, leaving death and destruction in their wake.

Whether Carmona can mobilize millions (not likely), hundreds of thousands (probably not), thousands (possibly), or hundreds (closer to reality) of women into an army of leftist foot soldiers willing to wreak havoc in pursuit of her Marxist goals remains to be seen. But her aim certainly seems to be in that direction.

Her comments come so close on the heels of the failure of the Biden administration and its Democratic comrades in Congress to pass legislation to see abortion “codified into law” that one would be forgiven for thinking that Women’s March is little more than an activist group of poorly behaved women whose true purpose is to act as the Unladylike Brigade of the Leftmost Wing of the Democratic Party.

Even a brief perusal of the organization’s website and Wikipedia page offer ample evidence of the fact that Women’s March is a farce. Women’s rights are not the goal; the real goal is the same as that of BLM, Antifa, and other Marxist groups: Revolution — the end of which would be the razing to the ground of America and the erection in its place of a Marxist state.

Under the “Our Vision” tab, the organization’s website lists its “strategic framework” as including the goals of “Promoting Feminist Economies,” “Reimagining Democracy,” and “Ending White Supremacy.”

Joining in with other Marxist and Marxist-influenced groups that realize the only way to build a new world is to first tear down the old one, Women’s March states — under its “Values” tab — “Our organization welcomes and values all women and feminists, working across race, age, place and all lines of difference.” But, since the group claims to be about “all women,” the question has to be asked, “What is a woman?” As do its comrade organizations, Women’s March fails to answer the question — instead regurgitating leftist pablum such as, “When we say all ‘women’ that means everybody invested in gender justice and putting an end to sexism in all its forms.” And, just to add confusion, “We want to see women of every race, gender expression, lived experience, sexual orientation, ability, ethnic background, class origin, country of birth, region, immigration status or religion thrive.”

Women of every gender expression? Well, thanks for clearing that up. But this is the stuff Women’s March is made of. After the 2017 march, the organization began to distance itself from the vagina hats it used to grab attention, saying that the hats were intended as a reaction to Donald Trump and were not intended “to oppress vaginaless women.” But since the hats were “very specific for people with vaginas,” the group chose to ditch them so that “vaginaless women” (read: delusional men) would feel welcome within the group.

The Wikipedia page for Women’s March (2017) shows that the organization has some impressive Marxist bona fides. Longtime member of the Communist Party USA Angela Davis served as a speaker and an honorary co-chair. She was joined as honorary co-chair by Cesar Chavez comrade Dolores Huerta, who — among her other accomplishments — was a member of the Democratic Socialist Organizing Committee and Democratic Agenda/Socialist Caucus, as well as other Communist Party fronts. Another co-chair was the confusingly named Bob Bland (whose actual name is Mari Lynn Foulger). Bland/Foulger was a member of the the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America in 2017.

Women’s March is little more than a Marxist-influenced group that claims to advocate for the rights of women (while finding it impossible to define what a woman even is) by encouraging the destruction of America. Claiming to represent feminism, the group advocates against the very essence of femininity — motherhood. Borrowing from the playbooks of other Marxist-influenced groups, they are planning a “Summer of Rage” to press the United States into submission where abortion is concerned.

If there is any good news that comes from all of this, it is that voters are increasingly turned off by the behavior of groups like Women’s March. Polls continue to indicate that Democrats are headed for a beating in the midterms, and it appears that in their mad scramble, they can’t see that the cause of their problems is that they are the cause of America’s problems.
