The Senate Judiciary Committee has already approved SJR10, the Senate version of the  resolution, for a vote by the full Senate. Since the committee designated the resolution “Do Pass,” chances for passage appear good.

Since similar resolutions affirming state sovereignty over those powers not granted to the federal government as stated in the Tenth Amendment have been introduced in the legislatures of at least 14 states, we can expect passage of these resolutions in many more states this year. Already this Tenth Amendment Movement is beginning to rival the Repeal Real ID Movement in number of states involved; however, it has built up its momentum over a much shorter time period and therefore has the potential to continue growing at a rapid rate and begin turning back the Big Government tide that has eroded personal freedom in our nation for nearly a century.
