The Allen West for Congress campaign issued a press release on Nov 20 conceding defeat, but not all of West’s supporters are in agreement with his legal team that the results of the election can’t be changed.

Election officials in Ohio were scheduled to begin counting absentee ballots and provisional ballots on Saturday, November 17, 2012, but they haven't been forthcoming about when or where the votes were to take place, which is a serious problem.

The Allen West for Congress campaign reported it has filed a complaint in circuit court in Saint Lucie County, Florida, seeking a preliminary injunction ordering a recount of all votes cast in his contest during early voting and stopping the election results from being certified until such recount is completed.

Are Military Voters Being Suppressed?

Numerous news sources are reporting reduced requests for absentee ballots by military personnel and their families this year compared to 2008. A Human Events article dated September 27 noted significant drops in applications for absentee ballots by military voters in swing states such as Ohio and Virginia.

Delegates Andrew McNulty and Richard Ford, who were aboard the GOP’s "Wayward Bus," speak out about their undue delay at the Republican National Convention in Tampa last week.

The names of about 52,000 deceased voters have been removed from Florida’s voter registration rolls. More voter registrations, possibly as many as 180,000 non-citizens, may follow as the State of Florida moves to clean up its voter registration lists.

An online article by the Associated Press reported on December 19 that the Iowa Republican Party is taking seriously the threat of disrupting the Iowa Caucuses. The article went on to say that the Republican Party is encouraging the use of paper ballots instead of a show of hands, which has traditionally been the norm at many of the caucus sites. This is for the purpose of reconstructing the results, if necessary. It also quoted Ryan Gough, who is in charge of coordinating the caucuses, as declining to release the specific details of the Iowa GOP's security plan in order not to make these details available to any hackers.
