President Obama’s May 19th speech on the Middle East sounded like something a high-schooler would have given to win a prize in a politically correct oration contest. It showed a total lack of knowledge of the historic reality of the area for the last hundred years. It was full of empty clichés about “democracy.” What he could have and should have told the Arab countries is that, after 63 years, it was time to end their boycott and hostility toward Israel and establish normal diplomatic relations with the Jewish state. He certainly should have expected Iraq, liberated from despotism by America, to establish normal diplomatic relations with Israel.
The essence of Gangster Government was summed by a comment President Barack Hussein Obama made in October, 2010:
We’re gonna punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us.
With Huckabee out of the race, and Donald Trump announcing his decision not to run on May 16, it seemed that Mitt Romney had a good chance of becoming the Republican nominee in 2012. But his Massachusetts healthcare program is turning out to be a real albatross around his neck. He has vowed to repeal Obamacare, but he also wants to replace it with a Romneycare of his own. That’s not what the Tea Party wants.
Have you ever wondered what goes on in those left-wing, politically correct “leadership seminars” in which individuals learn how to become “leaders”? Who and what are they trying to lead? According to Beverly Eakman, America’s best writer on the subject of psychological warfare, these so-called leaders are professionally trained to manipulate you in going along with a group that promotes an idea, or a program, or a policy which you may at first not agree with, but in the end find yourself unable to resist.
Is man a spiritual being? Not according to Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, and John Dewey. To them, man is simply matter in motion. In fact, Marx’s revolutionary philosophy is called Dialectical Materialism.
All of us, at one time or another, have crossed paths with an obese individual with incredible slabs of fat. When I see such a person wobbling down the street, I’m tempted to ask, “Why don’t you eat less?” But obesity is caused by an insatiable appetite and a constant intake of huge amounts of food. And our federal government is very much like that obese individual, with an equally insatiable appetite for money, borrowed or taxed, in order to expand its body.
What happens? You create moral confusion and chaos. The children are taught that morals are relative, and no one can say with authority what is right and what is wrong. And since there are no real consequences to bad behavior in the schools, obedience to authority goes out the window. Teachers become the object of the students' scorn and disrespect. Other students are either friends or enemies. You can even incite a student to commit suicide by unrelenting ridicule. You live by the law of the school jungle. And parents have no idea how to deal with the moral lawlessness in the schools.
Last weekend, April 28 and 29, 2011, I attended the 22nd annual home-school convention of MassHOPE, at the Worcester, Massachusetts, convention center, where I was able to offer my reading program, Alpha-Phonics, to new home-schoolers. I am well known to older home-schoolers whose children are now adults. Thousands of them taught their children to read with my program and they always thank me whenever they see me.
Although the costs of public education keep going up every year, academic achievement in these schools continues to decline. Why? If you’ve read Charlotte Iserbyt’s well-documented expose of government education, The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America, you would know why.
The Johnson administration’s War on Poverty was a very expensive exercise in futility, for the simple reason that poverty can never be permanently eliminated by giving wealth away. It might be eliminated temporarily by giving every individual in America $100,000 and an investment counselor to help him or her assemble a decent portfolio of common stocks. But some of these people would wind up squandering every last dime of their federal “inheritance” and revert to poverty in short order.
