They should have saw it comming I can't stand it when countries vote for central control and then dispute any ruling handed down that they don't agree with. No one cares more about its family than its own family members. No one cares more about Italy's traditions then Italians. A continent with that many languages and cultures should never have been centralized in the first place. Take note that the euro was the first public step in this process. I will take more outrageous rulings against other nations before a revolution of sovereignty takes place. Sadly we in the USA will likely support the central government in any such crisis. This is shameful, but it will only get worse. |

imposition of religion is wrong No conservative American has grounds to complain that the EU has ruled incorrectly in this case. While we can support the study of the history of religion in public schools, the imposition of the symbols of any one religion or sect would not pass muster in the United States. Let's not confuse the Italian stupidity of giving control of their country to an international court that answers to no one but the Euro-Oligarchy with the issue of whether parents should have to tolerate even the implied advocacy of a faith or sect in their children's school. |

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that the traditional display of crucifixes in Italian classrooms violates the rights of parents and children.
