The unemployment rate shot from 9.8 percent in September to 10.2 percent in October, the highest it has been since 1983, the Labor Department reported on November 6. In response, the Obama administration is set to sign a $24-billion economic stimulus bill. America’s economy lost 190,000 jobs in October, somewhat less than in September. The Labor Department revised September’s losses from 263,000 to 219,000, making October look only slightly better by comparison.

Unemployment of American citizens will continue Unemployment of American citizens will continue for along time because the Federal Government REFUSES to put a freeze on importing foreign workers during this time. Each MONTH 125,000 foreign workers come into this country & the Federal Government is ASKING for more foreign workers. Those representatives that VOTE to import foreign workers DONT care about the American citizens that are out of work, they seem to only care about people that arent citizens of the US! Not only that Obama wants to reward illegal immigrants with Amnesty so those 11 million illegal immigrants that are working here in the US will also get to keep those jobs. |

... The federal government has become destructive to the very ends of everything it was put in place to preserve. It is incapable of stimulating anything. If you want to see real prosperity try abolishing the income tax for a start. American jobs have been outsourced through the trade treaties and those industries remaining are being over taxed and over regulated out of business. If the American people don't wake up and toss the entire congress out in the next election cycles, we deserve what we're getting. |
