As Sheriff Mack showed, they can stand up to the Feds

As the New American article on Sheriff Mack showed, the elected Sheriff can tell the Feds to Go to Hell. (Which is where their power comes from).

I have ordered Mack's book and will deliver it to our local Sheriff as soon at it arrives. We will need their help in the near future. - Thomas Paine

If I could vote for Mr. Arpaio, I would do so.

Nice to see a sheriff who is a hero and a constitutionalist.

Run, Joe, Run. We love ya, man!

Sheriff Joe is a hero and Obama is the criminal. He is violating his oath to defend the Constitution and its mandate of defending the states from invasion and so have the previous Presidents

The political parties are the problem and THE CONSTITUTION IS THE SOLUTION!

Excellent article! - Brian Bonner

In support of the Sheriff

With the high crime rate by illegal aliens, Sheriff Arpaio has the foresight to do what needs to be done. His job is to protect and serve. He has done so with integrety and thought.

The only people who are offended by his actions are those with a vested interest in seeing that a mass legalization of those who would otherwise remain under the cover of darkness. People forget that they come here to take advantage of our country, our system and our liberties. When organizations like the ACLU goes out of their way to make this happen, it doesn't make sense. I guess they forgot what the "A" in ACLU means.

When every American-born man, woman and child has enough food, housing, medical care and a job, then we can allow foreign immigration to this great nation.

Where does the Sheriff get his power?

I don't know what the Federal Government is doing to do about the Good Sheriff. Sheriffs are Constitutional officers, not U. S. Constitution but State Constitution. Alaska is the only state that doesn't have the Constitutional officer of Sheriff.

The states created the Constitution which empowers the Federal government. Also, Tenth Amendment: reserves to the states respectively, or to the people, any powers the Constitution did not delegate to the United States, nor prohibit the states from exercising.

So what is the Federal Government going to do? Amend the Arizona State Constitution? I think not.

"Testament to Arpaio's leadership"??? He has cost the county tens of millions in lawsuits. He has 40,000 unserved warrants collecting dust. He raids city hall buildings looking for suspicious custodial workers while violent crimes go univestigated. But he gives a dandy little press conference..... - scott
