More Evidence Backs Zimmerman

Two new developments in the Trayvon Martin case in Sanford, Florida cast even more doubt on the prosecutor’s second-degree murder charge against George Zimmerman, the Hispanic man accused of killing Martin because the 6-foot-three football player was black.

The Orlando Sentinel disclosed FBI records that show that federal law enforcement officers learned that Zimmerman is not a racist and indeed is far from it.

Meanwhile, the Miami Herald reported that the lead detective in the Martin case told the FBI that fellow detectives pressured him to press charges.

The unborn are now a little safer in Liechtenstein.

Voters have upheld the right of Crown Prince Alois Philipp Maria of the Central European principality to veto referenda passed by voters — a right that was threatened after he promised to veto a referendum to legalize abortion.

That referendum failed, but introducing what Ann Coulter calls the liberals' "holiest sacrament" of abortion into the Catholic monarchy could have ended the political role of its royals had voters taken away the prince’s right to veto referenda.

Police: Lesbian Staged Campus Hate Crime

The Hartford Courant and other media have reported that Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) has expelled Alexandra Pennell, and now the unhappy college girl faces eight felonies and 17 misdemeanors. Although Pennell pleaded not guilty, police caught her on tape and she confessed to her roommate, the newspaper reported. Staging hate crimes is now a common occurrence. In May, for instance, police in Colorado arrested a pair of lesbians for staging a phony hate crime at their home.

The leftist Politico reporter who made racist and sexual remarks about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney is a wife beater, a court in Maryland has ruled.

Joe Williams, whom the leftist website Politico fired for the controversial remarks, pleaded guilty to beating his wife, and is not allowed near her, it was reported earlier this week by FishbowlDC, a subsidiary website of Mediabistro.com.

The illegal alien who murdered a father and two sons in San Francisco in 2008 not only evaded deportation with the city’s help but also had murdered before, the San Francisco Chronicle has revealed. Even worse, the FBI knew it and did nothing.

According to the Chronicle, an informant from the Salvadoran MS-13 gang told the FBI that Edwin Ramos, convicted on July 30 for murdering 49-year-old Tony Bologna and his sons, Michael and Matthew, had murdered a gang foe before he cut down the three Bolognas in a hail of gunfire. Another son, Andrew, survived the attack.

The 22-year-old Saudi “student” who landed in the United States with a visa to study and a dream to murder Americans was convicted in court of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, the FBI said.

Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari could get life in prison for hatching the plot.

FBI agents arrested the would-be terrorist, a student at South Plains College in Lubbock, Texas, last year after he bought the supplies to make a bomb.

Last week’s story here that Britain’s National Health Service euthanizes 130,000 elderly folks a year is no surprise.

Last year, a major report cited the socialist health-care agency for neglecting the elderly under its care. The neglect was so severe that doctors began prescribing drinking water to patients because they would otherwise die of thirst.

In other words, nothing changes in Britain, no matter how bad the abuses are. That is the lesson to be nationalized health care. Euthnasia, as well, killed the patients more quickly than simple neglect.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue has demoted a veteran firefighter for posting politically incorrect comments about the Trayvon Martin case on his Facebook page.

Brian Beckman was a captain in the urban fire department until mid-May, about a month after he got riled about the Trayvon Martin case and said so on his own time at his Facebook account. He attacked the prosecutor, Martin’s parents and the ubiquitous hoodie.

The firefighters union will fight the demotion, its chief said.

The Pew Hispanic Center says President Obama’s amnesty for illegal alien young people will permit about 1.4 million illegals to stay in the country, a considerable jump from the 800,000 originally reported.

The research organization bases its claim on its estimates of the total number of illegals here, which it puts at about 11.2 million.

In yet another victory for the forces of politically correct insanity, voters in North Dakota voted to dump the mascot of the University of North Dakota (UND). The Fighting Sioux are no more.

According to the Bismarck Tribune, more than 67 percent of voters approved of Measure 4, a ballot initiative that ended the long struggle between the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and its supporters, on the one hand, and those who love and revere the formidable-looking Indian logo the school has used for many moons.
