Alex Newman is an award-winning international journalist, educator, author, speaker, TV & radio host, and consultant who seeks to glorify God in everything.

In addition to his role as senior editor of The New American magazine and host of The New American’s nationally syndicated radio show “Behind The Deep State,” Alex serves as president of Liberty Sentinel Media. He has written for a wide array of publications in the United States and abroad including some of the most widely read and influential publications. Alex is a regular guest on top TV and national radio programs, having appeared on OAN, NTD, Fox, Newsmax, TBN, RAV, and many more.

Over his career as a journalist, Alex has interviewed current and former heads of state, members of Congress, royalty, and countless other fascinating people in his travels around the world for The New American. To this day, Alex regularly travels the globe for research, speaking, interviews, conferences, and more. He has filed stories for various publications from dozens of countries across Africa, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and more.

Education is one of Alex’s major passions. After having taught Advanced Economics to high school seniors for over a decade through The New American affiliate FreedomProject Academy, he joined the board of directors. He also serves on numerous other boards of leading education-focused organizations and ministries including Public School Exit, which is working to get children out of government schools.

One of Alex’s major works was an exposé of government schools with internationally renowned Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld called Crimes of the Educators endorsed by conservative leaders ranging from Phyllis Schlafly to Ron Paul. His latest book is Indoctrinating Our Children to Death and has been endorsed by many of America’s leading figures in education, media, medicine, and ministry.

In addition, Alex authored Deep State: The Invisible Government Behind The Scenes, a topic he has explored in hundreds of speeches and interviews in the United States and beyond.

As a consultant, prior to focusing on journalism full time, Alex has worked on a wide array of successful campaigns, ranging from political campaigns for Congress to marketing campaigns for non-profit groups and international businesses. His PR work has appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Associated Press, Reuters, and more. Alex also spent time working in marketing and branding as Creative Director, Europe, for a leading international branding firm based in Miami.

Alex speaks regularly at conferences on topics ranging from education and economics to climate and international affairs. He also teaches often in evangelical churches on a wide array of subjects. He has shared the stage the likes of Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Gen. Mike Flynn, Charlie Kirk, Kirk Cameron, Phyllis Schlafly, Ben Carson, Robert Kiyosaki, numerous patriotic members of the U.S. Congress, governors, multiple members of Trump’s cabinet, and countless other American heroes. In addition, he advises political, non-profit, and business leaders across the United States and beyond.

Alex has a B.S. degree in journalism from the University of Florida with an emphasis on economics and international relations, as well as an A.A. degree in foreign languages from Miami-Dade College. He also studied international relations and geopolitics at the Institute Français des Alpes in France. He has lived, studied, and worked in eight countries (US, Mexico, Brazil, Switzerland, France, South Africa, Spain, Sweden) on four continents. He speaks multiple languages fluently and more at varying degrees of proficiency.

Being educated at some of the most elite international schools on the planet has given Alex access to extraordinary movers and shakers worldwide, as well as a unique perspective on global affairs. He uses these insights and sources to bring truth to millions of people each year while promoting the message of faith, family, and freedom.

Most importantly, Alex is married to the love of his life. They have five children, so far, all of whom are homeschooled.
